{"id":6633,"date":"2019-10-22T18:12:09","date_gmt":"2019-10-22T16:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fif.nuos.edu.ua\/?p=6633"},"modified":"2019-10-22T18:12:09","modified_gmt":"2019-10-22T16:12:09","slug":"2019-access-alumni-summit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fif.nuos.edu.ua\/?p=6633","title":{"rendered":"2019 ACCESS ALUMNI SUMMIT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 18-19, 2019, Lidia Aizikova, a teacher of the Foreign Languages Department together with Yulia Hrytsyshyna and Sofia Matvienko, students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, participated in the 2019 Access Alumni Summit: 10 Years of the Access Program in Ukraine.<br \/>\nThe English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides an opportunity for talented youth to learn about U.S. culture and values, deepen their knowledge of the English lang<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">uage, and take an active part in the development of Ukraine. The Access Program in Ukraine works currently in nineteen locations across Ukraine with financial support from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.<br \/>\nDuring the Summit, held at America House, Kyiv, the participants exchanged their Access experience and ways that Access had impacted their lives, including core skills development, engaging in lifelong learning, community service. Alumni shared their views on promoting cooperation between Ukraine and the United States.
